We currently are in the early stages of our formation, and we currently are not available to join as a sports team, or to participate in. We are not just Westerly bulldogs, we are also Chariho Chargers, and we will charge fourth together as colleagues, and as friends! We hope to serve the Towns of Richmond, Hopkinton, Charlestown, and Westerly, and share our love for lacrosse between everyone between Grades 8 and 12 outside of normal school-hosted lacrosse teams!​With the existence of Westerly Area Youth Lacrosse (WAYL) operating from Grades 1 through 8, Greater Westerly Youth Lacrosse (GWYL) exists as a lacrosse team specifically designed for both boys' and girls', operating from Grades 8 to 12. This structure allows for a smooth transition for young players as they progress through their lacrosse journey, ensuring that e have opportunities to develop their skills and remain engaged in the sport outside of High School.​We are always interested in volunteers with lacrosse experience to help with development of the team and with coaching, and to anyone who is interested in participating within Greater Westerly Youth Lacrosse (GWYL).
